New purchases

As I wrote here I've been in the process of getting my heart broken and now it's been ripped out and thrown the dogs. So what better way to get over heartache than to buy some stocks  to my money making machine. Two new companies Autoliv and Phillip Morris. When it comes to Autoliv the yield is low, but I have faith in trend of self driving cars. Phillip Morris is a major international dealer in tobacco.
  • 2 STO: ALIV-SDB for 951 SEK per share for a yield of 2.21 %.
  • 3 PM for $ 119.76 per share for a yield of 3.47 %.
  • 5 TGT for $ 50.17 per share for a yield of 4.78 %.
Autoliv, Phillip Morris and Target all pay a quarterly dividend and will pay me $ 2.4, $ 6.24 and $ 6 for a total of $ 14.64.

I've updated my portfolio and as always it can be found here. These purchase made my projected annual dividend $ 800.

Income/expense May 2017

For May I got a substantial bonus from work (almost 20 000 SEK), which made this month the best when it comes to income from a job. I was also my best month when it comes to dividends and I also spent a lot of money, most of which is for a journey I will take during the summer. Apart from that this month has included a new role at work and a potentially broken heart. I'll have to give both those things time to see how I feel about it.

Expenses: 24 440 SEK
Income: 50 360 SEK
Saving rate: 51.47 %
Dividend/Expense rate: 3.84 %

A summary of my savings rate can be found via this page.

Dividends May 2017

As I wrote when I summarize my dividends from April I knew that May would be a good month. The dividends I received are as follows.
  • SRET 32.05 SEK ($ 3.71)
  • SPFF 32.45 SEK ($ 3.76)
  • SDIV 35,85 SEK ($ 4.15)
  • T 43.33 SEK ($ 5.02)
  • ABBV 28.13 SEK ($ 3.26)
  • PG 143.84 SEK ($ 4.22)
  • HEL:SAMPO 177.69 SEK ($ 20.6)
  • STO:INVE-A 110 SEK ($ 12.75)
  • STO:SWMA 192 SEK ($ 22.26)
  • STO:HM-B 73.5 SEK ($ 8.52)
  • STO:INDU-C 84 SEK ($ 9.74)
  • STO:SECU-B 93.75 SEK ($ 10.87)
For a total of 939.12 SEK or $ 108.87 and a new all time high! Comparing to the dividends I received a quarter ago I receive 2700 % more. It's not really a fair comparison since I almost had no money invested, but somehow you have to measure progress, right?
